Welcome Back!!!

Dear Madison Eagle Families,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Madison District Public Schools! We are very excited about all that this new school year has to offer! The Madison staff is eager to begin working with our students and families, as we focus on continuous improvement in teaching and learning and all areas of our school environment.

Our school building and grounds have undergone impressive construction over the summer – including a new roof, lighting, PA system and more! Things will be in top-notch shape for students’ arrival the first day of school, August 28th.

Our entire staff strives each year to ensure a safe and secure learning environment where strong partnerships and respectful relationships can flourish. In all of our class offerings, we will continue to work to give students rigorous and relevant learning opportunities in every classroom, every day! Students’ learning needs and interests are also supported through our numerous partnerships with community organizations, including our collaboration with Communities in Schools. The CIS program provides students with tiered supports for success both inside and outside the classroom. Our new CIS Student Support Coordinator, Haïette Merchi-Magueramane, will be working with our student body to provide academic assistance, college & career prep and service learning.

We value your continued assistance in guiding and supporting your child’s learning, and are looking forward to a productive partnership with you again this school year to ensure our children can achieve at their highest potential. We encourage you to visit our website and become familiar with our new handbook and code of conduct expectations. You may also find the school calendar, suggested school supply list, and many more resources.

As we begin a new year of learning, we welcome your involvement and participation in our great school and look forward to working with you and your student as we strive toward an academically successful 2023-2024 school year. We hope you have had a wonderful summer and we look forward to a productive, rewarding year ahead.

Sincerely,
